ECHO: an environmental installation expressed through surrealistic photographs of an abandoned lead mining town, Picher Oklahoma. The images displayed in ECHO are  printed on large silk panels and lightly stitched with gold metallic thread.  The barely-there-and-faded nature of the photographic process is an intentional expression of the gradual disappearance of life in a place that was once the beloved home to many.  The metallic thread represents the profit once made from the land and it's people. The panels hang floor to ceiling and move with the air in the room creating a dreamy experiences for the viewers walking among images. The additional element added to the exhibit is the ghostly silhouettes of other viewers moving through the silk at the same time.
